Statement:
As a current Lacey Council member, I voted to reduce spending without cutting jobs or services. A $3-$5 billion deficit is facing Washington State. This is a threat to our public and private sector jobs. I'll work to stabilize jobs for public servants, while creating more opportunities in the private sector. I'll reject short term budget fixes in favor of reality-based budgeting. I'll fund all retirement promises made to state employees. My wife and I are raising three school age children, and I'll fund education first and advocate for local control to schools. Vote Jason Hearn-A New Direction!
